Massacre of the Innocents

Hello everyone. I'd like to share the process of my recent project that I've been working on in the past five months since the brutal massacre of Mahsa Amini in Iran. In order to commemorate and contribute artistically to the Freedom of women and all innocent people in my homeland I decided to initiate this painting expressing my sense of anger, disappointment, and hope. I took a known Biblical story and turned it into something contemporary to us happening right now. I'll describe thoroughly the project in the next posts. Stay tuned and hope you enjoy. It's a 2m x 1.50m canvas and I'm using oil colors to paint.
